Part 9: The construction of the house

The construction of the house went well from now on.

In March 2018, we traveled to Meski again and visited the construction site.

Things are also progressing on the inside
On March 31, under a full moon, the topping-out ceremony was celebrated with some friends. On this occasion the name: Birgits Bed & Bistro was born.
As long as the guest house was not yet habitable we stayed at Driss’ home.
The men had to recover in between also times in the oasis

In June 2018 we were then only again in Essaouira

Here we visited the Gnawa Festival
Here you could buy, buy and buy….
Then we went with the rental car in the direction of Meski
The kitchen of the restaurant took shape
Also the terrace slowly became cozy
and it was also celebrated further…
