This small desert village with about 500 inhabitants is located directly in front of the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, one of the two large sand dune landscapes in Morocco.
From here, you can ride a camel to a tent city in the desert, giving you a little sense of what nomadic life in the desert feels like.
However, we find it a pity that this incomparable landscape is increasingly destroyed by noisy quads and so-called luxury camps, because just the peace and quiet of the sandy desert actually make its incomparable flair.
